Formula Philosophy
To enhance this formula's effectiveness against cold and flu viruses, Christopher Hobbs, Secara's Chief Herbalist, has added Elder Fruit for its proven anti-viral effects and potent anti-oxidants; organic Goldenseal to cool inflamed mucous membranes and clear heat; Yarrow to gently reduce fever, increase elimination of wastes, and for its anti-viral effects; organic Peppermint Oil to reduce chest and sinus congestion; and organic Thyme and Thyme Oil for their potent anti-fungal and immune enhancing power, and ability to help prevent secondary bacterial infections. Thyme is widely prescribed in Europe during cold and flu season.
