  Herbal Pain Relief (Willow-11)
60 tablets, 750 mg

History
Herbal Pain Relief is inspired by the traditional Chinese formula Shen Tong Zhu Yu Tang.

Formula Philosophy by Christopher Hobbs, L.Ac., A.H.G.
Secara's Chief Herbalist, Christopher Hobbs, L.Ac. A.H.G., one of the world's leading herbalists, has based Willow 11 on a time-honored Chinese formula used for pain relief. To enhance this traditional formula, Christopher has added white willow bark extract (10:1 concentration).

White willow bark has been used for centuries in North America and Europe for its ability to relieve pain and inflammation, and to reduce fever. White Willow Bark's active ingredient is called salicin (same class of chemical compounds as Aspirin), which is converted to salicylic acid when absorbed. Salicylic acid is the active ingredient in Aspirin. WWB has demonstrated effectiveness in human clinical trials at reducing pain and inflammation, without causing GI distress. Willow 11 is not only a strong anti-inflammatory agent; it has also shown benefit as an antipyretic (a fever lowering agent).
